Adaptive reuse. One of the most historical building in Singapore that is being conserved. With sensitive amendments to its entire structures.

The intention of this project is to revive what was once the building's purpose was - a factory. The intention is to re use this space as a vintage car workshop & gallery.

By infusing new programmes into the space to target more users. The challenge is to control circulation for car, car users, also walk ins (such as tourists, car enthusiasts) who would like to explore the space.

The challenge lies where there should be connectivity from one space to another, all the spaces are interconnected and act as a transitional space. Inspired by how the car engine works, how the parts are important to one another and it is a dynamic flow.
